How to do it: trim the flowers so the stems are short and let the flower heads sit just above the edge of the cake – either at an even height or with slight variation for a more natural, organic look. Place them close together along the edge to create a floral wreath that frames the cake in an elegant way.
If you’d like to vary the decoration, other small, delicate flowers that are in season in February also work beautifully, such as waxflower, baby’s breath or alstroemeria. This DIY project combines the joy of baking with a love of flowers and is perfect for celebrating Galentine’s or a romantic moment at home.
