Teacher Appreciation Flowers

Teachers' Day, or rather National Education Day in Poland, always falls on October 14.

The day we colloquially call Teachers' Day in Poland... is officially National Education Day. National Education Day dates back to 1972, when the Charter of Teachers' Rights and Responsibilities Act was passed. Initially, October 14 was called Teachers' Day, as the holiday was only for teachers. It wasn't until 1982 that its name was changed to National Education Day.

There is also World Teachers' Day – an international celebration of teachers traditionally organized jointly by UNESCO, UNICEF, and Education International. World Teachers' Day is celebrated on October 5.
Most countries around the world celebrate Teachers' Day, for example: Argentina – September 11; Brazil – October 15; China – September 10, Czech Republic, Slovakia – March 28; Spain – November 27, India – September 5; Mexico – May 15, Taiwan – September 28; Turkey – November 24, Ukraine – first Sunday in October.

What flowers to buy for a teacher? It depends on the occasion, the season, and the teacher's preferences. It's worth ordering bouquets of their favorite flowers, or flowers in their favorite colors. If we don't know the teachers' preferences, a colorful or pastel bouquet of mixed flowers with the most beautiful blooms of the season is a safe gift. Mixing several colors and types of flowers eliminates any hidden meaning in the bouquet that might seem out of place.
